This course examines some of the earliest heresies brought as challenges against the Person and Work of the Messiah. Names have changed, but many of these same heresies have been recycled and employed today as challenges against what Scripture teaches.

Doug Taylor, PhD, is Assistant Professor of Theology and Apologetics at Luther Rice College and Seminary and Program Coordinator for the Master of Arts in Apologetics. He is the author of WHY? A Believer's Introduction to the Faith and Jesus Before Constantine: The Church, Her Beliefs, and Her Apologetics, and has two pending articles to be published in the forthcoming Zondervan Messianic Study Bible. He and his wife Kathryn have two grown daughters and currently live in East Tennessee. When he's not teaching or writing he really enjoys deer hunting -- when the season is right, of course!
